We took Tyler to Bass Pro and he really enjoyed it, he got to meet Santa for the first time and didn't even cry he did just the opposite he smiled and smiled at Santa. They gave us a free 4x6 and they had all kinds of free activities too.. Their decorations were super cute. It was a perfect day to go we didn't wait longer than 10 mins to get a picture with Santa.

Pinterest

Tyler's birthday is coming up in January I can't believe he is turning one!!!!! Originally the plan was to start trying to have our second baby when he turned one but now it's too close and I think we are going to wait a little while... Besides there's to many pregos right now :)) Jennifer, my sister Jackie and Johnny's cousin Jessica. There's soo many cute things on Pinterest for monsters inc and I've made several things already for Tyler's birthday. I can't wait for the big day. While browsing I came across these puzzles and I made some for Benny and for Tyler's friend Ava.. Tyler puts everything in his mouth so I'll wait a little to give him a set .. They turned out super cute and it was easy to make.

Get serious

I decided that's its time to get serious and start working out again ... I've been only procrastinating for 9.5 months now.. At first when Tyler was born it was hard trying to find the time and most important the energy to workout.! We got an eliptical machine for $50 on a yard sale and I also have tons of videos that I can do at home so no more excuses it's time to lose those last few lbs!! It's even specially hard to watch how much I eat since I'm still breastfeeding I eat like the world is coming to an end! It's awful how hungry I am. So I figured I will kind of watch what I eat but for me working out really does the trick plus I need to motivate Johnny too... We'll see how long this motivation will stay :) hopefully for a while we need it!!!

Baby food

Since Tyler has been eating all kinds of Gerber foods it can get a little pricie as he is eating 2-3 containers a day.. I went on Pinterest  and some other websites and found some recipes and to my surprise it was really easy to make.. I made peaches, pears, plums, sweet potatoes, carrots, squash and added some apple sauce that grandpa Vandruff made with no sugar all natural!!! .. He likes everything except the squash..

Just boil them for a few minutes that way the skin is easy to remove and the inside is cooked... I steamed the carrots and potatoes since they can take longer to cook
Place the peaches on ice ...

Same process with the pears...

I used my magic bullet and within seconds the food was all puréed up

Sweet potatoes and golden potatoes I boiled them for longer but I have also baked/steamed them and it worked out the same..

So I placed them in the muffin pan which is the exact same amount of food as the #2 Gerber foods...

Placed them in the freezer and a couple hrs later this is what we had!!!  I take them out the night before to defrost and it's ready in the am for Tyler.. So far it has worked out great Tyler loves it and our wallets do too :))

Here is the link to where I got my recipes from click here

Summer 2013

This summer was pretty fun, we got to go to the lake a few times with our boat, go swimming, went to Payson several times, James got married and I'm pretty sure next summer will be even better since Tyler will be bigger and I'm sure we will be at the lake a lot more!!  That's the only way we can survive the heat in AZ gotta have a pool and now that we have a boat it for sure makes the summers even funner!

Nails

.I thought it would be nice to show a little tutorial on how I do my gel nails.. Its pretty simple now that I know what steps to follow. I'm pretty addicted and love getting new colors. I find that I like the colors of "red carpet gel nail polish" the most. I also like that they last about 3 weeks sometimes a little less as your cuticles start to grow.. I'll start with some pictures and add them as I do my nails , or other people's nails too.
The cost for all this.. Well the UV light I got on craigslist for $30, and each gel nail polish from Ulta costs $9.99, the base coat and the top coat last a really long time.

FIRST
Prep your nails ( file and remove or push cuticles back so the gel doesn't touch them)

And get your supplies..

SECOND
Apply a thin layer of red carpet base coat (structure)to your nails (make sure to get the whole nail and cap the edges so the gel wont lift). Cure them under light for 90 second.

To learn to "cap the free edges" and apply the gel click here

THIRD
Apply a thin layer of the gel color of your choice. Cure them for 90 seconds.

FOURTH
Apply a second layer of the gel color of your choice. Cure them for 90 seconds.
If by the second application you think it is too light follow step 4 again. Usually 2 coats are perfect.

FIFTH
Apply a thin layer of red carpet top coat (brilliance). Cure them for 90 seconds.

SIXTH
To remove the stickiness of the gel, wipe off each nail with isopropyl alcohol and BAM you are done!!

SEVENTH
Enjoy your nails!!!
