Bath bombs

Preparing for my "Sprinkle Baby Shower" I wanted to make something for the ladies as a party favor that I know it will be used. So after some research I was going to make natural lip balm then came across bath bombs that I have been wanting to try out anyways....
So after a few recipes I got the perfect consistency for the balls that came out just PERFECT!!

Recipe was actually pretty simple but each batch only made 4-5 balls...

1 cup of baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 citric acid ( this makes the fizz, and there are several natural options)
1/2 cup epson salts
3/4 tsp water
2 1/2 tsp melted coconut oil ( I used almost double this)
8-10 drops of essential oils of your choice
and the bath bomb molds
food coloring (optional)

First combine all dry ingredients in a bowl, then combine all the wet ingredients in another small bowl.. Combine both very slowly...
I made them with baby blue food coloring very light..
Then add them to the mold filling them up all the way each half then combining both of them

Wait a couple minutes and remove one side.. then remove the other side

Some of them cracked, but I wasn't able to tell until they were all dry.. But I added more coconut oil to the other batches and it totally made them a lot better..
 I made a total of 40 balls...

Johnny and Tyler and of course myself have all been enjoying the not so pretty balls, they smell amazing...!! I used peppermint essential oil, wild orange, aroma touch, lavender for the scents.!!

Now I have the molds and I think these will make very cute and useful gifts for any girl!!!!
