Sedona trip

We had a few days off from work and decided to go to Sedona for the first time, what a beautiful, calming place. We loved it!! We stayed at Poco Diablo resort they upgraded x2 and we stayed in a really nice room in front of the god course. Beautiful place!! A lot of shopping and sight seeing. It was nice to get away for a few days...

 

The Chapel up in the mountain was so awesome!! Chapel of the Holy Cross.

 

Since we were so close we went up to NAU in Flagstaff since I got my BA from there it was nice going to the actual campus..

 

On our second day there we went to Slide Rock.. It would be nice to go back during summer time and get in the water! Another beautiful place!!!!

Tyler was just fascinated with the rocks and of course the water, it was freezing and his little hands were red but he wanted to play with it.

 At Tlaquepaque, cute little shops and arts and some good restaurants..

Bibdanas

Friend from work makes awesome bibdanas in such cute prints as well as baby minkies.. They are to die for. I want every single one of them!!

The joys of walking

This has been such an exciting time, Tyler is finally walking all by himself. He is amazed with himself and we are so proud of him. He has been holding on to furniture and toys for a while and has finally gotten the courage to just let go and explore.
I'm loving every minute of it.!!

Healthier breakfasts

Besides the Paleo banana pancakes I've found some easy healthy recipes that I can make and have enough for the week. We started doing this and Johnny lost 10 lbs ... Me I think I lost 2lbs :(

zucchini oatmeal muffins I used half wheat flour on the recipe. I did the same for the greek yogurt pancakes.

GREEK YOGURT PANCAKES...

Mix one egg per one Greek yogurt 

The mix in all dry ingredients 

Mix wet to dry.. It looks very thick and doughy

I love the chunks of fruit from the greek yogurt and this one is Tyler approved.!

Butterfly exhibit

There is this cute new place in Scottsdale its a butterfly exhibit. I love butterflies and loved seeing all of the different types. Tyler had fun too, even though he did touch a couple butterflies with his hands but what do they expect.. cant tell a 1yr old that he is not supposed to grab and squish a butterfly...

 Butterflies were landing all over our backs it was pretty neat.

 I thought this was kind of cute and funny.

He was only supposed to put 2 fingers in the water as instructed.. lol but he was splashing the water tryin to grab the stingrays..
